ABOUT US
Immersonal was founded in 2021 by the Directors of Sentireal.
With the experience gained creating bespoke VR and AR applications for customers across the globe we identified key themes in what we where repeatedly being asked to produce, and where the majority of the cost was being accumulated.
We believe in a world where subject matter experts should be empowered to pass their knowledge on to others, without having to learn a programming language or pay an outside organisation. Technology should be a tool that subject matter experts can use quickly, easily, and at a low cost to help to train others.
Immersonal was created to do just that. An immersive training application can be created in minutes that can be used on a VR headset, tablet, smartphone or desktop PC - without the need for any code.
OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM
TOM HOUSTON - Founder & CEO
Tom is an MBA graduate from the University of Ulster with 25 years global sales and marketing experience. Tom has led teams for organisations such as EMC, Storagetek, and Sun Microsystems.
Tom's experience extends to leading sales, marketing and customer service teams globally in the education technology, retail technology and engineering sectors. He steers the strategic direction of Immersonal and all commercial aspects of the business.
DAVID TRAINOR - Founder & CTO
David co-founded Immersonal in 2021. He has over 25 years' technical experience and expertise in software development, Virtual/Augmented Reality and Artificial Intelligence, gained from academia and industry. He is involved in several industry partnerships, and is Immersonal's representative on international professional bodies. Contact David on LinkedIn.
NUALA TRAINOR - Founder & Director
Nuala is a co-founder of Immersonal, and is responsible for our HR and Operations. As a graduate in Business Studies and French, she has a wide range of experience in areas ranging from tourism, business and retail to education, training, and autism provision.
AIDAN MCGRATH - Founder & Chairman
Aidan is an experienced NED, mentor and trainer with a wealth of experience in Start-ups and Business Development, General Management, Marketing, Sales Management and Consultancy. He provides strategic input and advice regarding future growth and expansion of the company.
JAMES HUNTER - Founder & Director
James is an experienced IT professional. Having scaled up and sold his previous company, James is now a Director with a major multi-national IT organisation leading their software development efforts.
